Jury selection will take place Monday in Grenada County for the murder trial of Kendrick Cowart in Pike County Circuit Court, officials said.
Cowart, 26, 107 Cedar St., Summit, is charged with murder, armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery in the July 11, 2009, slaying of Peggy Sue Wilkinson Carter.
