David Dixon was at The Barber Shop in Liberty when Smiley Kirkland mentioned an interesting cemetery. It turned out to be more interesting than Dixon imagined when he found ancestors he didn't know he had, including an early Amite County doctor.
“Smiley said, 'I know where an old cemetery is. Come on, let's go look at it,'” Dixon said.
