UTVs have come a long way

Last weekend Angelyn and I were outside when we heard a strange rumbling sound up the road. We watched as a convoy of side-by-sides — I’ll bet there were 20 of them — roared past, some playing radios at high volume.

TV, movies no place to learn about firearms

Everything I learned about guns I got from TV shows and movies — everything wrong, I mean. Everything bad, dangerous and ridiculous.
Cowboys, policemen, spies, soldiers — in real life these folks were and are pretty much experts in firearms. On the big screen, not so much.
