LIBERTY — A color-coordinated map on the wall at the Amite County courthouse designates areas where oil and gas drilling is under production or soon will be. Different colors represent the energy companies Goodrich, Encana, Halcon and Comstock whose wells appear like patchwork on fabric across the map.
