No new charges in Gill probe

LIBERTY — Investigators are looking at all of the angles in the death investigation of Brittany Gill but still have no new leads, and no new charges have been filed in the case, according to District Attorney Ronnie Harper.

The body of Gill, 27, of Lincoln County, was found Oct. 27.

Franklin escapee captured

Magnolia to vote on giving up share of Beacham

The Magnolia city board will likely give up the city’s share of Beacham Memorial Hospital tonight to provide the hospital a lifeline during troubled financial times.

Beacham has experienced financial problems in the last year and was forced to lay off more than half its staff.
