Two people are dead and another is hospitalized after an early morning accident shut down Interstate 55 traffic for more than four hours Saturday.
Daniele Harris, 27, of Brookhaven, and Cortheney “Sed” Maxwell, 24, of Hazlehurst, were killed in a two-vehicle accident in the northbound lanes of I-55 just north of Summit.
