Dillon, Myers OK with hearing outcome

Both Tasha Dillon and David Myers continue to claim victories following a House committee’s decision to dismiss Dillon’s challenge of her loss in the House District 98 Democratic primary.

Coming off Tuesday’s hearing, Dillon said her and her attorneys expect a judge to reconsider her challenge.

Senate challenge set

A Senate committee will meet next week to hear Melanie Sojourner’s challenge of her defeat to Bob Dearing in the Senate District 37 race, both Dearing and Sojourner said Wednesday.

Senators hope to wrap up the matter before the end of next week, the candidates said.
