Flies, scalding temperatures and a faint — though unmistakably unpleasant — aroma didn’t put a damper on the McComb Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility’s grand opening on Tuesday.
The facility is paid for through a $35 million, 20-year MDEQ loan at 1.75 percent interest and was constructed in less than two years.
