Over the last couple of decades, southwest Mississippi’s business community has shifted from small, unique mom-and-pop stores to strip malls and big-box retailers.
Shannon Barclay saw the trend. She also saw a void in need of filling.
She and her husband, Mark, filled that void when they opened the Savy Peacock in July.
