McComb selectmen approve motel tax referendum

A referendum to reinstate the McComb motel tax will proceed as planned on July 19 according to Mayor Whitney Rawlings.

The mayor told selectmen at Tuesday’s work session that the referendum’s final hurdle — approval by the Mississippi Justice Department — recently was cleared.

McComb hires four new police officers

Fired officer testifies
