Murder suspects nabbed in Pike

Pike County sheriff’s deputies and McComb police arrested two Marion County men wanted on capital murder charges Wednesday afternoon on Presley Boulevard.

Shawn Bradley Louge, 25, of Sumrall, and Thomas Ray Nicholas III, 35, of Columbia, remained in the Marion County jail held without bond today.

Three days after an accident left him with a paralyzing spinal chord injury, friends and family are rallying to help Justin Howell.

Howell, 20, injured his C-5 vertebra after reportedly diving into the Bogue Chitto River head-first from a tire swing on Sunday. He was in stable condition at University Medical Center today.
