Centreville officials are mourning the loss of the town’s fire chief, who died of a heart attack Sunday morning following a house fire.
Nolan Pittman, 45, died at Field Memorial Community Hospital after leaving a fire at Terral McDonald’s two-story home on Claudia Street. Firefighters responded to the blaze around 3:30 a.m.
