South Pike cites dwindling interest, funds, drops volleyball

After a brief debate among South Pike School District trustees Monday, the board voted 3-2 to disband the high school volleyball program, with board president Dr. Luke Lampton and John Hilbert against.

Athletic director John Culpepper said there are two major issues with the volleyball program: lack of funds and lack of interest.
