City OKs apartment plans

A new apartment complex with top-notch amenities will be open for business by 2015, a developer told McComb city officials this week.

McComb selectmen voted Tuesday to approve a special use permit to allow RBR Developments of McComb to build a multifamily apartment complex known simply as McComb Apartments on Parklane Road.

Discussion, no action on city personnel issues

McComb officials are searching for a handful of new city employees, but the hunt for some is taking longer than expected.

Since McComb Police Chief Greg Martin and Fire Chief B.J. Nettles retired simultaneously at the end of August, the city has been on the hunt for permanent replacements.
