A longstanding Ward 4 incumbent will face two challengers in the McComb municipal primaries on Tuesday — one he’s faced twice before, and one a student at Alcorn State University.
Selectman Melvin Joe Johnson, who has been in office since 1998, will face fellow Democrats Donovan Hill and Donald Burks at the polls.
