JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — A Mississippi man was sentenced Thursday to 20 years in prison for assault on a federal law enforcement officer, prosecutors said.
U.S. District Judge Henry T. Wingate sentenced Demario Lamar Cotton, 40, of Jackson. Cotton pleaded guilty July 1 in the case.
