A McComb resident caught a would-be burglar in the act of trying to steal from a vehicle on Tuesday, police said.
Chief Detective Sgt. Victoria Carter said someone tried to break into a 2006 Dodge Durango parked on the 300 block of Mississippi Street around 1:30 p.m., but the owner saw the intruder.
