Lady Trojans end drought

WOODVILLE — The Amite County Lady Trojans hadn’t won since December, but in the first round of the District 7-3A tournament Amite County was more than ready to grab a win.

The Trojans beat the North Pike Jaguars 45-41 on Tuesday and erased the memory of the past months.

Tigers top Trojans for third time

While the rest of their districts were finishing up races for tournament seeding, the McComb Tigers and Amite County Trojans were prepping for their district tournaments in a different way.

The McComb boys beat Amite County for the third time this season, 71-55, while the girls accomplished the same feat, 45-33.

Bears bring winning back
