Kayla Stockton was a perfect forward, but she didn’t know it and neither did her coach.
After not making it onto the cheerleading squad in ninth grade, her friends convinced her to join the soccer team.
“She was just athletic and I didn’t realize how good she was going to be,” North Pike head coach Wes McCullough said.
