A little home cooking never hurt anyone, and once the Southwest Mississippi Community College Bears got a little taste on Saturday, they had all the confidence in the world.
“I wanted to start off with a big bang,” leadoff hitter Bubba Boggs said. “I wanted a leadoff hit to get the team going, and the home run just came.”
