The Southwest Bears split with the Jones County Bobcats on Wednesday night.
Southwest won the first 10-1, but lost the second 5-4 after the Bears weren’t able to make up the early runs the Bobcats scored.
“We battled that second game,” Southwest head coach Butch Holmes said. “Our biggest problem is getting behind early.”
