Mims leaving post at city hall: City administrator cites struggles with mayor; retirement effective Nov. 1

McComb City Administrator Sam Mims announced his retirement today, citing deteriorating working conditions at City Hall under Mayor Zach Patterson and calling the past several months the most trying of his 20 years as a city employee.

Mims, 64, informed selectmen last night of his decision, which will be effective Nov. 1.
