North Pike head boys’ basketball coach Keith Russ refused to use fatigue as an excuse.
After all, the Loyd Star Hornets were coming off their own marathon the night before, a 67-65 loss to South Pike.
“I can’t say we were tired,” Russ said. “They were in the same predicament.”
