Iron Horse stumbles

It isn’t as if the Pike County Iron Horse doesn’t have a running game. It just hasn’t been discovered yet.

The Iron Horse offense sputtered to the tune of eight turnovers Saturday night in a 14-6 loss to the Mississippi Raiders in semi-pro football action at South Pike High School.

Tigers find stroke in win

As they sit atop the Southeastern Baseball League standings, the Pike County Tigers have seemingly solidified their position as a championship team.

The Tigers added the long ball to their arsenal with three home runs in a 9-3 victory over the McComb Blue Sox at McComb Rotary Field on Friday night.

Iron Horse hosts younger, bigger Raiders
