It was a day long overdue, but former Parklane Academy head football coach Charlie Newlon still couldn’t take it all in.
Newlon, who coached the Pioneers for 27 years and to five state championships, was inducted into the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools Hall of Fame on Saturday night.
