After watching his team’s double-digit lead shrink to 4 points early in the third quarter, South Pike head boys’ basketball coach Joe Taylor called a timeout.
“I wanted us to take some time off the clock,” Taylor said. “I didn’t want to get into a running game with Columbia, because they’re a running team.”
