An exhausted Jason Simpson sat in the McComb Tigers’ dugout, hoping he had toed the pitching mound rubber for the final time Saturday.
With the Tigers leading 9-2 and the first two outs of the bottom of the fifth inning recorded, however, it looked as if Simpson had more pitching to do.
