The Mississippi Department of Health now has confirmed 10 positive cases of COVID-19, the novel coronavirus spreading around the world in what the World Health Organization has classified as a pandemic. There are still no confirmed cases in Pike County.

Police search for store robber

McComb police are looking for a masked man who robbed a cashier at a McComb convenience store at gunpoint on Friday night.

A man entered the Pump N’ Savor at 1218 S. Broadway around 9 p.m., drew a gun and demanded the cashier empty the register, Detective Victoria Carter said.
