Thanks to a dominating performance on the ground, Parklane Academy opened the 2016 football season by defeating the Simpson Academy with a 37-12 home win Friday night.
The Pioneers’ offense racked up 332 rushing yards, while the defense held the Cougars to 174 total yards.
