An untested idea from a freshman Democratic lawmaker probably won’t get much traction in the Republican-dominated Mississippi Legislature.
But just in case, it’s worth opposing for the record a proposal by Rep. Abe Hudson, D-Shelby, to give each member of the House of Representatives two personal assistants, paid for by the taxpayers.
