Eubanks at peace with election outcome

Albert Eubanks is feeling rather sanguine about his election loss on Tuesday.

“God’s will is God’s will,” he said Wednesday. “There’s no other way to feel about it.”

Eubanks finished a strong third in a four-way Democratic primary Tuesday for the mayor’s office in McComb.

Patterson, Lockley advance to runoff

The Republican nominee for McComb mayor is set, but Democrats will need a second vote to decide theirs.

Tommy McKenzie won the Republican nomination in a landslide Tuesday, swamping his opponents with more than 97 percent of the vote. He advances to face the Democratic nominee in the city’s general election on June 19.

Hill, Webb to face off for selectman at-large
