Tylertown OKs water tank rehab

TYLERTOWN — Town water tanks will soon get a good cleaning and fixing.

Aldermen on Tuesday night accepted a $136,000 bid from Stephens TPS of Brookhaven for rehabilitation of both of the town’s water tanks, near the shopping center near U.S. 98 and at Walthall General Hospital.

City revisits marijuana

McComb selectmen Tuesday night took another stab at a proposed ordinance to lessen the penalties for possession of small amounts of marijuana.

Selectman Donovan Hill, who proposed the ordinance, asked that it be put on the agenda for a vote at next week’s board meeting.
