City meeting a bust

McComb selectmen met briefly and fruitlessly Monday before adjourning without taking any action or even discussing the matters for which the meeting was convened.

Mayor Quordiniah Lockley called the special meeting to discuss eliminating a captain position in the police department and demoting the holder of that office to lieutenant.
