Stabbing sends 1 to hospital, another to jail

A stabbing outside a McComb convenience store Friday night landed one man in the hospital and his friends in jail on unrelated charges.

Damian Smith, 30, suffered three stab wounds in the altercation at the Exxon on Presley Boulevard, including two in the left upper thigh and another in the lower abdomen, police said.

Magnolia woman allegedly stabs husband

A Magnolia man is in the Pike County jail after a quarrel with his wife got out of hand.

Pike County Chief Investigator Chris Bell said deputies responded to a domestic dispute call at 8:40 p.m. Thursday at 1008 Gum Grove Road.

Woman booked in home invasion

One of two suspects in a home invasion has been booked on aggravated assault and armed robbery charges, Pike County sheriff’s officials said.

Brittany Lynn Boyd, 23, 1015 Russell Lane, Summit, was arrested Saturday. She remains in the Pike County jail in lieu of $30,000 bond.
