A McComb police officer whose wife died in a June shooting at the couple’s home has resigned from the department.
Police Chief Scott McKenzie confirmed Thursday afternoon that officer Frank Ceely resigned on July 14.
McKenzie said Ceely, 51, had been on administrative leave since the June 9 incident.
