A McComb man accused of shooting two people at the White Acres apartment complex in July has been located and arrested in Tangipahoa Parish, La.

Detective Sid Boyte said Perry D. Chester, 32, North Live Oak St., McComb, was arrested Sunday and charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault.

Gloster man faces big trouble after arrest in big rig theft case

A Gloster man remains in the Amite County jail after he allegedly took a truck from a business on Nov. 4.

Police Chief Terry Boss said Charles L. Shiflet, 38, 1031 Captain Gloster Drive, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with grand larceny.
