A Pike County man is in jail today after lawmen say he fatally shot his estranged wife in front her children Thursday and led authorities on a manhunt that ended hours later in Lawrence County.
Pike County Sheriff’s Department Chief Investigator Greg Martin said charges are pending against George Smith, 26, 3085 Highway 570, Summit.
