A Magnolia alderman had second thoughts about entering into a contract with a company to install new automated water meters in town — an action that will require an $800,000 bond issue.
But in a 4-1 vote Tuesday, aldermen decided against a motion to rescind a contract with Johnson Controls and to continue with the project.
