Walthall County Sheriff Duane Dillon dies

Walthall County Sheriff Duane Dillon has died after a lengthy illness.

Dillon was elected sheriff in Walthall County in 1997 after being appointed earlier that year. He also was Pike County sheriff from 1984-87. He lost his bid for a fifth full term in this year's primary.
