Bob Stribling, a self-described “fern addict,” compares himself and his favorite plant to the biblical figure Barnabas.
“In the New Testament Barnabas was known as an encourager and he never wanted to take credit. That’s the way I am,” Stribling said. “I’m like a fern, like Barnabas, I like to talk and I like to encourage people.”
