Pike County Tax Assessor Jim Duckworth is not seeking re-election this year, leaving the position open for five candidates seeking the job.
Two candidates, Lance Honea and Laurie Allen, both running on the Republican ticket, work in the office. They will be on the Aug. 4 ballot with real estate agent and business owner Wayne Frazier.
