Pioneers looking for 2nd straight win Friday

Parklane Academy football will be at home 7 p.m. Friday for a conference match against Lamar School.

The Pioneers defeated Copiah Academy last week, 26-18, for their second win this season. Lamar (4-5) lost to visiting Presbyterian Christian last week.

Lamar defeated Parklane in last year’s meeting, 35-14.

Pioneers win homecoming, 2nd game of year

Parklane Academy football hosted Copiah Academy for homecoming on a chilly Friday night and earned a much-needed second win of the season. The Pioneers pitched a first-half shutout and defeated Copiah Academy 26-18.

Pioneers face Copiah for homecoming

Parklane Academy football celebrates homecoming at 7 p.m. Friday against Copiah Academy.

Parklane (1-7) lost at East Rankin last week after a slow start, but holds home-field advantage for the remaining three games of the regular season. Copiah Academy (3-5) is coming off a win at Brookhaven Academy last week.
