Game gets away from Bogue Chitto early

LOYD STAR — The Bogue Chitto High School football team trailed by 36 at the end of the first quarter in the season opener on the road Loyd Star at Sambo Field Friday night and went on to lose, 55-0.

The Bobcats (0-1) decided to kickoff to the Hornets to open the game. The Hornets started the drive on the 44-yard line.

Bogue Chitto can’t find its way

BOGUE CHITTO — The Bogue Chitto Bobcats were defeated 37-34 Friday night by French Camp in the first round of the Mississippi 1A South State playoffs.

The Bobcats came out in the first half and dominated the Panthers, but French Camp rebounded with a strong third quarter to edge the Bobcats at Troy Smith Field.
