Few pieces of ground in Pike County are more sacred than Danny Nichols Field, the home of youth baseball in McComb since the early 1950s. Besides the churches, schools and Hollywood Cemetery, I would rate the ball park in the Edgewood subdivision as the community’s most recognizable location.
