The story of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37 is one of the most compelling in the Bible.
It tells the story of how two people, one a priest, passed up a chance to help a man beaten by robbers on the road from Jerusalem to Jericho. Luckily for the victimized man, a third — a Samaritan — came by and cared for his wounds.
