The U.S. Marshals Service, the oldest law enforcement agency in the United States, is a “versatile service,” the McComb Rotary Club was told Wednesday.
Nehemiah Flowers, U.S. marshal for the Southern District of Mississippi, said the Marshals Service was created in 1789, along with the federal judiciary.
