Arguing with players and managers is the easy part of being an umpire in major league baseball.
“The hardest part is being away from your family,” Lance Barksdale told the McComb Rotary Club Wednesday.
“I love to go on the field,” he said, in response to a question about whether it ever gets tiresome.
