Mississippi was without an in-state burn center for a few years after the one in Greenville closed in 2005, but it has one now.
The Joseph M. Still Burn Center opened an outpatient burn clinic at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon in 2008, and has since grown to include inpatient and intensive care.
