When I heard Saturday night that two Hattiesburg policemen had been shot to death, I immediately recalled a similar incident when I was in high school.
The fathers of two men who now live in Pike County were killed March 9, 1952, in an eerily similar crime in the same city, not far from Saturday’s shooting.
