Scott Carnegie knew his 12-and-under Orange Crush travel team had an adequate shot at winning the USSSA Double-A World Series.
There was one stipulation, however — the team had to play perfect baseball.
Sure enough, they did, and it resulted in a World Series championship for the Crush, a travel team based in McComb.
